Speaking from Experience//Research.
From viewing a couple of clubs' websites, I found out that the 'Leeds Bar & Club Awards' were back up and running for 2011. These awards have been around for a while, however, seen an absence in recent years ...but they're back!
I then came across an online calendar of events occurring on a weekly basis. I wanted to include a calendar within my guide, so this could be a source which I direct my audience towards as it is forever up-to-date, unlike a hard copy.

This website contains 'an essential guide to bars, pubs, clubs, hotels and restaurants in Leeds.'
All I can say is the design is horrific!!! Also, it contains very limited information and what information is available seems to be quite dated. FAIL!
