The map of future//Density Design
I am not particularly keen on this design; there seems to be an awful lot going on in a small space, it contains a lot of information both visual and written thus making it difficult to digest.
World Flag System//Martin Oberhauser
The design of this map is very minimalistic, so much so that you would not be aware of what it represented unless you read into it. Nevertheless, I do feel this is much better than the previous design.
Speed Cooking- Cookery Maps// Rose de Claire
These maps replicate the style in which the London Underground map is presented in, however, they deal with the topic of cookery instead.
Hionidis 2009// Beetroot Design Company
The black background works well against the colour of the type and imagery, it also works well in relation to the fact that the topic in hand is the moon. The poster is informative being both easy to understand and digest.
Minimetro// Zup Associati Srl
The simple colour scheme allows any person to easily identify whether the sign be a warning of danger or just used as an indication. However, the typeface could be a little clearer.
