Design for Screen6.

The Mill

'Based in London, New York and Los Angeles we collaborate on award-winning moving image, design and digital projects for the advertising, film, TV, games and music industries.'

They are quite simply the brains behind some of the best work currently out there....

Wowzer. The visuals in this reel alone are immense, not matter which piece you screen you are sure to engage with it and have a pleasurable experience.

The Mill Group Showreel 2011 from The Mill Visual Effects Studio on Vimeo.

Same goes for this to be quite honest ....inspiring stuff!

The Mill Games Reel 2011 from The Mill Visual Effects Studio on Vimeo.

They have even conquered the gaming scene too. Just wow.

The Mill - Audi: Advanced State Of Mind Making Of from The Mill Visual Effects Studio on Vimeo.

Well, this is how the big boys work! Making a 3D car commercial without having the car present takes immense skill. It is truly the depth that creates the image within this.

The Mill VFX Making Of - Doctor Who series 5 from The Mill Visual Effects Studio on Vimeo.

They even work on creating the amazing visuals we see on BBC1 Doctor Who. Amazing.

I think it is the music of this advertisement that makes that connection with the audience.

John Lewis

Again, I feel it is the music accompanying them which makes them what they are.

The words in the music are so fitting to what is occurring!

Tissues at the ready! ....now this is one advertisement that has the ability to make most people shed a tear, but again I feel this is down to the music used.

Well, this keeps to you interacted as you continue to watch as you begin to wonder 'what is it?'

Muller

Thank you cows! This is a little play on the source of the Muller yoghurts and a funny one at that.

Tango

I little bit of the unexpected! But it sticks in your mind and makes you laugh.

Lynx

I really like this advert, it engages with the real world and although it is about 'angels falling' it is also hinting at race too.

Old Spice

Despite the craze, I am not that much of a fan of this advert. However, the fact that this was created all in one take deserves some credit.

Malteasers

A simple notion effectively portrayed.

HP

Now this deserves immense credit! I first saw this on an open day at Kingston University as it was produced by their students ...no wonder it was award winning, what a talented bunch!!

Hovis

The integration of elitist sport with the product they are selling conveys the message that the product they are selling being of high quality. Some clever thinking.
