Interesting Book Binds.

After attending our book binding session and considering a book as my final product, I wanted to explore the creative book binds out there.....


Slateblu:

The exposed bind and pages on this creates a sense of truth to it.

This has a real natural/organic feel to it due to the choice of papers.

Manipulating books into different forms is another interesting take on the book bind.

Some inquisitive binds here, not sure I can quite produce this creativity in book binding yet but its something to strive for ey!

Seyoung Baek

The common association of a book and a pencil has been very cleverly used here.

Wooden Cover

Binding with wood and using natural papers has created a true masterpiece. Not sure it's all that practical, nevertheless, it's definitely captivating.  

Blizzard Book 

This is a fine piece of art and looks stunningly crisp.
